Indian Railways has approved a new daily mail train between Kanpur Central and Anand Vihar Terminal, offering passengers a convenient overnight travel option between Kanpur and the Delhi-NCR region.
This service will operate as the Train No. 14153/14154 Kanpur Central-Anand Vihar (T)-Kanpur Central Mail. Train No. 14153 will depart from Kanpur Central at 8:40 PM and arrive at Anand Vihar Terminal at 4:50 AM the next morning. On the return journey, Train No. 14154 will depart from Anand Vihar at 11:25 PM and arrive at Kanpur Central at 7:25 AM.
Covering a distance of 428 kilometers, this train will take approximately 8 hours 10 minutes from Kanpur to Anand Vihar and about 8 hours for the return journey.
The new train service will have commercial stoppages at: Phaphund, Etawah, Tundla, Hathras, Aligarh, Khurja, Dadri, and Ghaziabad.
This new daily service is expected to provide travelers commuting between Kanpur and Delhi-NCR with an additional rail option, while also improving connectivity to key towns and railway stations along the corridor. The overnight service is also expected to offer greater convenience to those traveling for work, business, and other purposes.
